Mrs. Monisha Jacobs
Good day parents/guardians,
My name is Monisha Jacobs. This is my first year being a classroom teacher. I am looking forward to being your child's classroom teacher as I enjoy working with students. I choose education as my career because I have a strong passion to make a difference in the lives of children. I want to make a difference by helping children reach their fullest potential in life which will help make this world a better place. My quality college education along with my love for teaching children will aid my my goal of helping children become the best that they can be.
I received my college education from Oakwood University May 2011 with a Masters of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education summa cum laude. I did my internship at Terry Heights Elementary School where I also gained a quality experience. Throughout my internship experience I gained an opportunity to put my knowledge about education into practice. With the knowledge that all children can learn, however may learn differently, I was very creative with catering to each of my students' unique learning styles. This creativity resulted with my students reaching their fullest potential allowing them to start strong in their next academic year in school.
I am honoured and pleased to announce that I am your child's first grade teacher! I am looking forward to providing your child quality education. With you and I working together as a team, we will aim to help your child reach his or her full potential.
